A year ago today, we lost a great man named Marco. He was a husband, a father of three beautiful women, an artist, and a man so full of energy he could never sit still. Our attempts at communicating through hand gestures and translation apps, along with his endless love stories about Brazil and everything it has to offer, are memories I will cherish forever.
